Alexander McQueen X Zaha Hadid Collaboration: Visualization

"What is even law and justice if it is created at the expense of vulnerable communities?"

As a group of four, we chose controversy as the theme for our collaboration. My collection explored political law and justice, challenging laws that may be created or manipulated for personal gain rather than protecting the vulnerable and fostering a fair, safe society.

Giovanna Quaratino x Grungey Demin: Visualization

This project is a continuation of the APSN collaboration, focusing on commercializing the runway collection into a sustainable, limited-edition accessory line. Instead of glam rock, I leaned into a grunge and denim aesthetic.

To ensure sustainability and a part of the assignment, I collaborated with a small Italian brand that upcycles handbags from unwanted fabrics and blouses. For my piece, I repurposed a sleeveless dress and denim scraps (patchworking and fabric yarn to crochet) to create a sling-tote bag—without spending a dime.

Industry Collaboration with APSN: Visualization

This project is a collaboration with APSN, a social service agency supporting individuals with mild intellectual disabilities through education, vocational training, and employment. We designed apparel or accessories with a real client profile in mind, culminating in a charity gala where our creations were auctioned after a fashion show.

For my design, I reworked a Uniqlo top inspired by the Glam Rock and grunge subcultures. I used patchwork, tie-dye, and gold metallic fabric to give it a bold, textured look.

Cyberpunk Collection and Collages

A compilation of Assignments 1–3 for Fashion Presentation and Techniques module, where we learned to draw 9-headed models, manipulating images for abstract aesthetic, developing a collection, and create fashion collages using Photoshop.

For my collection, I explored Cyberpunk, drawing inspiration from its 1980s–1990s aesthetic and dystopian themes. This influenced my use of a dark color palette with neon green and purple accents. We also studied silhouettes—boxy, hourglass, and fit-and-flare—to refine our outfit designs.

Alexander McQueen Window Display

This is a Visual Merchandising Mini Project I worked on during my time at ITE. It was a team effort to bring my window display design to life. The assignment was to showcase a fashion apparel or accessory as part of our display.

For this design, I drew inspiration from an outfit in Alexander McQueen's Autumn/Winter 22/23 collection. I used Adobe Illustrator to create the graffiti-style design for the wall and floor. For the outfit, I sourced a leather jacket and used my drafting and sewing skills to recreate the dress from scratch.

Wisma Atria Christmas Decor 2022

Another Visual Merchandising project, this was a collaboration between our course and Wisma Atria for a Christmas display decor. The theme blended Futurism with Festive, and I incorporated constellation and star elements to maintain a festive feel.

My design was selected as one of the top three entries that year.
